Grant Instruments Data Logging History

Grant has produced, supplied, and delivered data recording equipment since the 1980s. In the early stages, our products came in the form of portable multi-channel chart recorders for recording temperature and humidity, including chart recorders for paint oven profiling.

By the mid-1980s, Grant pioneered the development and use of portable solid-state data loggers when it launched its first Squirrel data logger. This was one of the first ever portable, microprocessor-controlled data loggers in the world.

Today, we have over 80,000 Squirrel loggers sold worldwide – a testament to the demand and reliability of our products.
